Fortunately,  Twitter did a good job on this as scheduling Tweets is really simple.

Here’s how to schedule posts on Twitter

• Compose your tweet as you usual but don’t post it;
• Instead, click the new button that resembles a clock and a calendar;
• Now choose an hour and a date;
• Click confirm.

To access scheduled posts, open the compose Windows and click the Unsent Tweets button. From here, you can edit tweets, change publish time or even cancel.
