Do this if you want some privacy on TikTok.
Like other social platforms, TikTok thrives on your data and doesn’t give a rats ass on your privacy.
Among others, the network shows others your activity status, as in when you are using the app or not. Which is not cool for many people.
So you may want yo turn this off and fortunately you actually can.
On your TikTok profile page, tap the three dots on the upper right screen corner and select Settings and privacy on the menu that opens.
Now go to Privacy and just turn off where is says Activity status.
After this nobody will be able to see when you are using the app. Also, you won’t be able to see when others are on TikTok, but hey, who cares?
