How to hide the Menu Bar on a Mac

Learn how hide the macOS’s Menu Bar. 

If you want to gain more screen estate so that you have more space for your apps or websites, you can easily hide the Menu Bar. 

To hide the Menu Bar on a Mac, do this:

  • Click the Apple symbol on the Menu Bar;
  • Now click System Preferences;
  • There, go to Dock & Menu Bar section;
  • And finally check the option that says “Automatically hide and show the menu bar on desktop”

Now, the Menu Bar will be hidden and you can make it visible by moving the cursor on the top of the screen, where it used to be.
