The latest version of iOS lets you copy text from any photo. And it’s pretty simple.
One of the best new features on iOS 15 is the OCR ability and recognise text in photos, text that you can copy and paste in other apps.
When you open an image that contains text in the Photos app, you’ll see an icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Normally, you could tap that and select text.
But, this feature works so seamless that you don’t even need to use that icon.
You should just tap and select text on that photo just like you would do in a text document. You can copy that text and use it anywhere else.
I know that Apple brought this feature later than Google on Android but the way Apple implement it is way, way better.
