How to Remove Microsoft Edge Tabs From Alt+Tab Menu on Windows 10

Are Edge tabs getting in the way of your multi-tasking? Here’s how to solve this problem.

The new Chromium based Edge browser is starting to look good, especially with all the optimizations made for Windows 10.

But, as we all know Microsoft, the Redmon giant wouldn’t be it self if it didn’t trough some curved balls. Like putting Edge tabs in the ALT+TAB menu. Like who uses ALT+TAB to switch between tabs?

So this has to go and, luckily, it’s quite easy to get rid of the tabs from the ALT+TAB menu. Here’s how:

  • Open the Windows 10 Setting app;
  • Go to System and then to Multitasking;
  • Open the drop down menu under “Pressing ALT+TAB shows” and choose “Open windows only”.

Problem solved.
