One of the neat features Apple baked into MacOS’s Finder is the ability to quickly convert images from one format to another.
Unlike Windows, image conversion is dead simple and accessible on MacOS. You don’t need a 3rd party app to do that, the OS gives you exactly what you need.
To convert an image you need to open Finder and select it.
Right click on it, go to Quick Actions in the contextual menu and click Convert image.
Now you have the conversion options in front of you. Here, you just need to choose the desired output format and quality. Click convert and you you’re done.
You need around 10 seconds to convert an image on an Apple computer. Microsoft, take notes, if you care.
