How to search open tabs in Firefox

Use this neat trick to quickly locate a page when you have too many opened tabs in Firefox.

We’ve all been there. Too many tabs to actually find anything, or wasting a lot of time looking for a web page.

But, there actually is a feature in Firefox for this problem, than can can help you easily locale a specific page opened in a tab.

Using the keyboard and with focus on the address bar (ALT+D), press the % symbol.

This will show you a list of all opened tabs. Writing something now, makes a search within the pages titles.

So, if you’re looking for Twitter, just type the first letters (Tw…) after writing % in the address bar.

You can also do this with your mouse. Click the address bar and the the little square on the last line that says “This time, search with”.
